When should I bring my child in for a sick visit?

If you are concerned that your child is ill, it is not always easy to know if you should bring them in to see a pediatric doctor. At Walking Urgent Care, we aim to provide same-day appointments for children who are sick as much as is possible. If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms, we urge you to consider bringing them in for medical attention:

If your newborn is experiencing a fever, this is considered a medical emergency and must be treated at the nearest emergency room.

With our virtual office visits, you can have an appointment with one of our fantastic pediatricians, whether at home, in the park, or at grandma’s place! Virtual office visits are designed to bring the clinic to you for your convenience and safety. Of course, if your child’s condition requires hands-on care, an in-office appointment will be required.
